Software editor downloadable from the AKAI Professional website allows you to configure additional functions, such as note messages, Control Changes, and Program Changes transmittable by individual pads, and Control Changes on the rotary potentiometers. Furthermore, you can assign your preferred color to each individual pad thanks to the RGB backlight control. Once you've created your preset settings in the editor, you can transfer them directly to your LPD8MKII USB MIDI pad controller to recall them at any time. There are four Program memories (preset settings) that can be saved and recalled directly from this pad controller. With the AKAI Pro LPD8 MKII USB MIDI pad controller, you can download the free MPC Beats DAW software, which includes a wide range of sounds, plug-ins, and rhythmic samples.
