In-house development and production result in perfect tuning for the respective recording application. The most striking feature is the “Swivel Joint” mechanism. To simplify instrument microphone positioning, Austrian Audio engineers developed a microphone basket suspension that allows a 220° rotation in the field. This allows the microphone to be precisely aligned with the sound source or according to personal audio preferences without having to inconveniently adjust or loosen the microphone stand. The open and transparent sound makes the OC7 a very flexible instrument microphone.
