This expander can therefore be connected to the BLU-Link network via CAT5e cable for a maximum distance of 100m, or via single-mode fiber optic cable through the MC-1 media converter, to reach distances of over 10km.\u003cbr\u003eThe choice of the 8 output channels can be easily made by setting 6 rear DIP switches, which select one of 32 groups of 8 contiguous BLU-Link channels (BLU-Link allows bidirectional transport of 256 audio channels). The BLU-BOB is therefore set up in a stand-alone manner, and does not require programming through the HiQnetT London Architect software.\u003cbr\u003eThe eight line outputs use the same euroblock connectors as other members of the Soundweb family.
