Each channel includes an advanced Noise Gate with Analogue Lookahead technology and a Brick Lane compressor: a Modal PWM compressor with 6 harmonically enriched analog saturation styles. The Brick Lane MC4 includes a dedicated De-Esser mode based on dynamic control with analog lookahead, allowing precise management of sibilance and high-frequency transients. The Brick Lane MC4 allows remote control of all parameters via USB or Ethernet. The control plugin integrates seamlessly and allows real-time control and recall directly from the DAW, as well as independent saving and loading of presets. Particularly useful for mastering, mixing, and sound design, the Brick Lane MC4 allows Mid\/Side processing by applying dynamics separately to the Mid (center) and Side (stereo component) components. No additional hardware is needed: the Brick Lane MC4 handles encoding and decoding internally. The Brick Lane MC4 features bypassable balanced TRS inserts on all four dynamics channels, allowing direct integration of external analog hardware. Each insert is selectable within the processing chain, allowing precise positioning relative to the compressor and other stages. In Mid\/Side mode, the inserts can be placed between M\/S encoding and decoding, allowing separate processing of Mid or Side components with external hardware. The Brick Lane MC4 offers four assignable external sidechain inputs, along with a flexible internal routing system that allows each channel to independently select its control source. The Brick Lane MC4 implements six distinct multiband analog saturation circuits, each designed to operate in synergy with the corresponding Modal PWM compression behavior (VELVET, FLOAT, SMASH, TAME, GLUE, and POLISH).
