It uses a 12” woofer and a 1” compression driver. With a sensitivity of 96 dB\/W\/m, the NRG-12 comfortably reproduces up to 117 dB with peaks up to 129 dB. The compression driver is coupled to a rotatable horn with 90°x60° directivity. The woofer has a low cutoff point of 50 hertz (-6 dB). The lightweight yet robust plywood cabinet has a dual-angle top hat (0° and 5°) allowing the cabinet to be tilted downwards when pole-mounted. It uses 4-pole speaker input and pass-through connectors and offers an additional 4-pin terminal connector, which is particularly useful for permanent installation applications.
