All NRG speakers use sturdy yet lightweight plywood enclosures, dual-angle pole mounts, and M10 fly points on the full-range speakers, M20 adapters on the subwoofers, a professional-grade wear-resistant polyurea coating, and robust connectors to deliver exceptional sound quality at a very competitive price. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe DAP NRG-15 is a passive full-range speaker rated at 550 watts peak (150 watts continuous RMS). It uses a 15” woofer and a 1” compression driver. With a sensitivity of 96 dB\/W\/m, the NRG-15 comfortably reproduces up to 118 dB with peaks up to 130 dB. The compression driver is coupled to a rotatable horn with 90°x60° directivity. The woofer has a low cutoff point of 50 hertz (-6 dB). The lightweight but sturdy plywood cabinet has a dual-angle top hat (0° and 5°) which allows the cabinet to be angled downwards when pole-mounted. It uses 4-pole speaker input and through connectors and offers an additional 4-pin terminal connector, which is particularly useful for permanent installation applications.
