The longer the array, the more extended the generated cylindrical sound wave, maintaining a more consistent sound level at greater distances compared to a normal point source. When combined with a subwoofer system, this extends the bass response and makes the acoustic result harmonious and immersive. The presence of a line transformer and a 3-position selector allows DICO columns to be coupled with both 70V or 100V constant voltage amplifiers and low impedance amplifiers. The protections on the connections and cables also make them waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with an IP66 rating. Aesthetically, the slim and elegant profile easily integrates into architectural installations or minimalist design environments. The lower weight and dimensions compared to normal 2-way speakers, as well as the wall mounting accessories, make DICO column speakers ideal for conference rooms, places of worship, classrooms and auditoriums, architectural installations, or integrated into design environments.
