The downward-facing transducer arrangement and the cone structure of the reflective surface beneath the woofer allow for 360° horizontal and 40° vertical coverage; this means that with 2 or 4 loudspeakers, a medium-sized garden or terrace can be covered. Of course, everything depends on the desired music level (background or medium\/high volume). The polypropylene structure of the GNS-550XGN is designed for long-lasting durability in conditions of constant exposure to all weather conditions. The UV treatment, in particular, prevents rapid deterioration of the plastic properties when exposed to the sun. The IP56 protection rating, considering the protected position of the loudspeaker in the upper part of the cabinet and facing downwards, prevents direct exposure to water and mud and significantly extends its lifespan.
