It is the perfect complement to the HMA7x series of audio routers. It fits into wall boxes of minimum depth (86 mm) and can therefore be mounted exactly where it is needed - in the room to be controlled. A standard CAT network cable is sufficient for connections; no additional power supply is required. Thanks to the daisy-chaining capability, multiple units can be installed in a room, with the last operated unit setting the system, and these settings are replicated across all HZE11+ panels as well as the connected main unit. Local audio input is possible via the provided 3.5 mm jack for a stereo signal or alternatively via a 6.35 mm jack for a mono microphone. The last external audio signal selected from an HZE11+ panel takes priority over the other panels in the room, so their audio signals are ignored and there is no unwanted noise on the audio bus. The previous model did not have this feature. Both models are compatible, but when used in conjunction with the HZE11, the HZE11+ reverts to the previous functionality.
