mxr-m195-noise-clamp
Mxr M195 Noise Clamp
The M195 Noise Clamp is MXR's noise gate that eliminates excess noise from the effects chain with a single knob, maintaining guitar sound definition even at high gain.
OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M195 NOISE CLAMP
The Noise Clamp is a noise gate that allows you to push pedals in your chain without fear of hum or excessive noise. By detecting the clean guitar signal, the Noise Clamp reduces the noise level within the integrated effects loop, even on the noisiest signals. A single knob, Trigger, sets the volume threshold that activates the pedal, while a green LED indicates whether the gate is active or inactive. This pedal can reduce noise by up to 26 dB, keeping the guitar signal defined even when using high gain.
MXR M195 NOISE CLAMP CONTROLS
Trigger: adjusts the threshold, the volume level at which the pedal activates
Send: sends the effects loop signal
Output: goes to the amplifier
Return: receives the effects loop signal
Input: goes to the guitar
Loop Bypass (internal): this internal switch activates (up position) or bypasses (down position) the pedal's effects loop
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MXR M195 NOISE CLAMP
Input and Return impedance: 1 MΩ
Output and Send impedance: 1 kΩ
Maximum level: 10 dBV
Maximum noise attenuation: -26 dBV
Signal-to-noise ratio: 99.5 dBA
Attack time: 3 ms
Release time: 10 ms
Bypass: buffered
Current consumption: 13 mA
Power supply: 9 volt DC
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0972/0643/6173/files/f_36-mxr-m195-noise-clamp-04501241_0.jpg?v=1785477357
