One of the amplifiers was modified for super-scooped high-gain saturation, while the other was modified for punchy mid-range crunch. Played in tandem, the complementary tonal profiles revealed a harmonically complex, gritty palette—it sounded so good that the team had to make it available to players worldwide.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe FOD Drive is the result of their efforts. Meticulously recreating each amplifier in pedal circuit form, MXR engineers put them into a single housing as separate channels: High Gain and Crunch Gain. Each channel has its own gain and volume controls. The Blend control then allows you to set the mix ratio of the two signals.
