The ¼\" TRS outputs can power active speakers for on-stage monitoring, and the balanced XLR outputs will carry signals up to 100m for connection to a PA system. The XLR outputs are transformer-isolated to eliminate noise and hum caused by ground loops and feature a Ground-lift switch that further reduces noise.\u003cbr\u003eOnce connected, an A\/B switch determines which stereo input to use, and the backup source can be quickly activated in case the main playback system fails. You can also connect a JR-2 device to the RADIAL ENGINEERING BACKTRACK to select inputs remotely. When preparing tracks for playback, a Mute switch disables power to the main and monitor outputs, allowing you to monitor tracks silently using a dedicated headphone output.
