Ground lift switches on each XLR output further help reduce noise generated by ground loops. For situations requiring level adjustment, the RADIAL ENGINEERING LX-2's trim control allows you to attenuate excessively strong signals: this way, microphone preamplifiers can be pushed to achieve the desired coloration and the level adjusted with the trim to prevent clipping at the recording interface input. This trim control is activated by a recessed 'set \u0026amp; forget' switch: for live use or situations where attenuation is not necessary, simply disengage the switch to avoid accidental and unwanted level adjustments.\u003cbr\u003eThe RADIAL ENGINEERING LX-2 is built with 14-gauge steel to be reliable night after night, even on the toughest tours, with its book-style design ensuring protection for connectors and switches.
