It features 4 bands of EQ with shelving filters for high and low frequencies fixed at 100Hz and 10kHz, and 2 semi-parametric mid-bands ranging from 300Hz to 2.4kHz and from 1kHz to 12kHz respectively. Each mid-frequency band also offers a choice between wide or narrow Q, to open up the sweet spot or tighten it for surgical precision. All frequencies are set with a boost or cut of 12 dB. The EQ can be bypassed to compare the effect before and after equalization.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\tThe preference for using Class-A circuits over Class-AB or other designs is well-documented.
