It supports up to 192 kHz at 24-bit and has a 2U rack format, providing ample space for all connectors and controls. MADI handles 64 audio channels at 24-bit at sampling rates up to 48 kHz, 32 channels up to 96 kHz, and 16 channels up to 192 kHz. All channels are transferred via a single cable, either coaxial (BNC) or optical network. In both cases, cables up to 100 meters in length can be used. AES\/EBU channels are provided as 32 AES\/EBU inputs and outputs via D-sub connectors.
