An important part of the SPL PASSEQ's sound is produced by the loading and saturation characteristics of the coil and capacitor. The resulting inertia, in contrast to the fast reaction of active filters, is the reason for the pleasant sound we get from passive designs. Finally, each boost and cut frequency now has an optimized Q factor.
