Rotel has recently updated its range of custom multi-room amplifiers, introducing two new, more modern products with rack-mounting capabilities. They are called C8 and C8+, and while they will arrive in September, pre-sales begin in July.
ROTEL C8
The ROTEL C8 is a custom Multi-Room amplifier that delivers 70 Watts of Class AB power across 8 distinct channels with a connected load of 4 ohms. Additionally, the 8 channels can be bridged for a total power of 140 Watts per 4 channels. It employs a toroidal transformer.
ROTEL C8+
The ROTEL C8+ is a Rotel Custom Installation C8+ amplifier that delivers 150 Watts of Class AB power across 8 distinct channels with a connected load of 4 ohms. Additionally, the 8 channels can be bridged for a total power of 300 Watts per 4 channels.
