Legacy 4K is an entirely analog effect, inspired by the character of an SSL 4000 series console (often referred to as "4K"). The first thing the Legacy 4K circuit does is introduce a decisive and musical-sounding high-frequency boost, which helps add some excitement to vocals or instruments. Secondly, it will add a subtle analog distortion with finely tuned harmonic content, helping to strengthen any sound with greater personality.
