The celexon UHD fiber optic HDMI cable complies with the HDMI 2.1 specification and transmits signals up to 48 Gbps with resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320p @60 Hz with color depth up to 12-bit) and 4K (4096x2160p @120 Hz with color depth up to 12-bit).
The hybrid fiber optic cable with 4 glass fibers and 8 copper wires allows for optimal signal transmission even over long distances. The electrical signal in the "source" connector is converted into a light signal, which is transmitted through the glass fibers to the "display" connector and converted back into an electrical signal. Therefore, when installing, it is necessary to pay attention to the direction of the cable.
The celexon cable has a diameter of only 5.5 mm and, thanks to the max. bending radius of 30 mm and 10 circuits along the entire cable, offers high flexibility during wiring. The slim connector allows the cable to be connected even in hard-to-reach places and does not hide any interfaces present near the connector.
Thanks to the new HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, it is possible to reproduce a wider color and dynamic range, and image optimization is adapted to each individual frame; this makes the reproduction of rapid color changes between high contrasts (e.g., image change from white to black) more natural*.
The Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is the new generation of ARC and is included in the HDMI 2.1 specification. Through this new ARC generation, it is possible to transmit up to 32 audio channels with uncompressed 24-bit/192 kHz data streams at a maximum speed of 38 Mbps. Thanks to the increased range and speed, the transmission of numerous audio formats, such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X, is possible without compression*.
Another technical specification of the cable is the Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which is especially useful in gaming. This mode reduces delays by eliminating advanced video processing and ensures fast response times. To take advantage of this cable function, in addition to having an ALLM-compatible monitor, the source devices must be able to transmit a high-quality video signal that can be played back immediately on the display.
The HDMI 2.1 specification is also characterized by the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), i.e., the synchronization of the image refresh rate of the source device and the content playback device. The image refresh rate can vary from 30 to 144 Hz and adapts optimally to ensure sharp images and avoid, for example in gaming, screen tearing*.
The additional Ethernet channel allows you to connect internet-compatible AV components to your home network using a single HDMI cable. It is sufficient for the TV to be connected to the network via cable. The AV receiver or Blu-ray player will receive the network signal via the HDMI cable in addition to the video signal. This way, you can avoid using a network switch and additional cables*.
All celexon UHD glass fiber HDMI cables are individually tested using measuring devices to verify their functionality. Particular attention is paid to the EBR (Error bit Rate) value, and only cables with the highest data transmission are sold.
