The DAP WMS series of speakers has been designed with versatility in mind. With 4-inch and 6-inch models, they are suitable for use in a variety of environments, including shops, bars, restaurants and even clubs.Thanks to the included wall mounting plate, DAP WMS speakers are incredibly easy to install, and can be mounted horizontally or vertically and, thanks to the ball joint, they can be easily rotated and angled. The DAP logo on the front of the speaker is also rotatable, so it is always the right way up.
Each model is available in 16-ohm and 100 V versions. The 100 V versions feature a multi-power board on the back, so the volume can be easily adjusted to match other components in the system. Thanks to the 2-way system of the speakers, all models ensure clear, full-range sound.
DAP WMS speakers feature a robust ABS housing with IP54 protection, which protects them from dust and water splashes. This means they can also be used in damp environments and sheltered outdoor locations.
Available in black and white, the elegant DAP WMS speakers blend seamlessly into any environment.
The DAP WMS8-W is an 8-inch passive wall speaker suitable for low impedance audio installations. The clever design of this speaker allows for installation simply by using the included wall mounting plate. This feature is very helpful for installers, allowing them to complete the job quickly. Furthermore, it is a versatile speaker design that uses a ball joint for tilting up to 30° vertically and horizontally, and for rotation up to 90°. Therefore, the DAP logo on the front is rotatable. Thanks to its quick and easy installation and versatile applicability, this type of speaker is very popular in public spaces such as shops, restaurants, and even clubs.
The WMS8-W features a 2-way system, giving it clear, full-range sound. With a maximum RMS power of 80 watts (240 W peak), it can produce an SPL of up to 111 dB at 1 meter.
A robust ABS housing provides protection from dust and splashing water. This means the speakers can also be used in damp locations and sheltered outdoor areas, for example on a porch.
