The ALTEA-408A is a portable, active PA system with a multi-angle polypropylene enclosure that allows it to be used as a stage monitor.
Its Class D dual-channel amplifier provides a total of 800 Wpeak and quality features that make it hard to find other systems in this segment, with such a wide dynamic range and extremely low distortion. ALTEA-408A’s signal processing includes FIR (Finite Impulse Response) digital filters. Voice controls, equalization, modes, delay, and gain control are user-configurable by way of a knob and an LCD display on the rear.
The 8GV speaker provides deep, powerful bass. High frequencies are generated by the M-32 compression driver, with 1″ output and FEM optimization. The passive ALTEA-408 version is designed for use with external amplification.
