The Gold 200 is the most compact floorstander in the series. As with MONITOR AUDIO Gold’s other floorstanding speakers, it combines the technology from their flagship Platinum II speaker drivers and a stunning cabinet to stunning effect. A more compact floorstanding model, the Gold 200 still delivers a large-scale performance. Its three-way design features two 6½" (165 mm) RDT II bass drivers below a 2½" (64 mm) C-CAM midrange driver with an MPD high frequency transducer module, supported by dual rear-firing HiVe II ports. All but the largest rooms will benefit from Gold 200’s remarkably tight and textured bass response, skilfully informative mid-range and fluid high-frequency attack. Regardless of volume or listening position, Gold 200’s communicative power will move you.
