The Debut EVO 2 turntable features a superior quality 8.6" carbon fiber tonearm with aluminum bearing block lock. The tonearm bearings are low-friction, ensuring stable and accurate tracking at all times. The carbon gives the tonearm a high degree of rigidity while keeping the weight very low.
The design of the tonearm and integrated headshell avoids unwanted resonances and provides a solid physical connection with the cartridge.
This superbly constructed tonearm delivers extraordinary sound quality with convincing imaging.
The heavy die-cast aluminum platter weighing 1.7 kg undergoes various steps to be balanced with precision to achieve a perfect platter.
Throughout its circumference, beneath the surface, a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring is inserted to help dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow and flutter.
The Debut EVO 2 platter is non-magnetic, which allows you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to our True Balanced Connection technology.
Our Record Puck E, available as an optional accessory, provides an additional level of damping and stability, and is the perfect add-on component for the Debut EVO 2.
The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2. Not only does it match perfectly with the tonearm from a sonic perspective, but it also looks great aesthetically on the turntable.
Our sound engineers have once again collaborated with cartridge experts at Danish Ortofon to create this new cartridge. The cartridge is a unique combination of technologies. One of these is Ortofon's well-known separated poles. This allows it to have a flat frequency response, comparable to that of MC cartridges.
The new Debut EVO 2 rests on three height-adjustable damped feet to ensure perfect support. The use of three feet allows us to increase stability on uneven surfaces, as a perfectly level platter is essential for true high-end sound.
Cables cannot improve the sound of an audio system, but they ensure that every detail and piece of signal information is transmitted to the receiving device.
The Connect it Phono E RCA included is a cable optimized for high-quality tonearms. We focused on quality materials, such as the purest copper conductor, for loss-free signal transmission.
In all our turntables we use an external "economical" switching power supply, as inside the turntable we reprocess the power supply through a precision alternating current power supply circuit, which directly powers the motor. In this way we create a brand new sine wave completely cleaned of spuriae. This guarantees very clean power that translates into greater speed stability.
