In the heart of Campo de’ Fiori, two restaurants with distinct identities – Mariuccia and Romoletto – chose to enhance their customers' experience through ambient music. The objective was clear: to provide a quality sound background, well distributed in all areas, both indoor and outdoor, without disturbing the tranquility of the historic center. The technical requirements were for uniform audio in every area of the venue, with independent volume and music source control for each area, reliability and ease of management by staff, and harmonious integration with the existing spaces.
For the pizzeria Mariuccia, a larger venue with multiple environments (indoor, outdoor, and service areas), an advanced and flexible configuration was required.
For this reason, we chose Fonestar Sonora 5" constant voltage loudspeakers: chosen for their sound quality and ease of installation in multi-zone systems, and a Zzipp Zone 4240PZ 6-zone amplifier. An additional external volume control was also installed in the outdoor area to facilitate staff intervention in case of customer requests.
For the trattoria Romoletto, with a more compact structure but with distinct indoor and outdoor areas, a simple but effective solution was required. For this, a 2-zone amplifier Zzipp Zone 2120PA and various sizes of Fonestar Sonora 8, 6, 5 and 4" loudspeakers
were chosen.
The integration of Fonestar loudspeakers and Zzipp amplifiers represented a winning choice for both venues. Mariuccia benefited from an advanced multi-zone system for flexible management, while Romoletto obtained a simple and high-performing solution. In both cases, the audio system contributed to improving the sensory experience of customers, strengthening the venue's identity.
