The ADAM Audio A44H is a 2-way powered 19” horizontal nearfield studio monitor, designed for production, mixing, post-production, and immersive systems, including use as a center channel. It features dual 4” MLM woofers, an X-ART tweeter with a rotatable HPS waveguide, 130 W peak hybrid amplification, a frequency response of 46Hz to 45kHz, a front-firing bass reflex port, 96kHz DSP, A Control via Ethernet, SoundID Reference, and XLR/RCA inputs.
A-Series performance in a low-profile format
The ADAM Audio A44H is designed as a horizontal alternative to the A7V, offering comparable performance in a form factor particularly suited for desks, racks, video workstations, and immersive systems, thanks to its distinct low-profile horizontal design.
Also designed for post-production and center channel use
The horizontal cabinet can be placed on a standard 19" rack shelf or above or below a display. This configuration makes it particularly attractive for post-production, broadcast, and multi-channel systems, where the A44H can also be used as a center monitor.
X-ART, rotatable HPS waveguide, and MLM woofers
The X-ART tweeter, handcrafted in Germany, is housed within a glass-fiber reinforced polymer HPS waveguide. The module can be rotated to maintain the desired dispersion geometry across different cabinet orientations.
DSP and complete control with A Control
The A44H offers Pure and UNR voicing options, four bands of room adaptation, and a DSP section that operates internally at 96 kHz. By connecting to a network via Ethernet, the ADAM Audio A Control software allows for real-time adjustments.
Sonarworks correction and professional connectivity
A Control allows you to import and upload filters generated by Sonarworks SoundID Reference directly to the monitor's DSP. Analog inputs include a balanced XLR and an unbalanced RCA; four M8 mounting inserts are located on the bottom for mounting solutions compatible with the A-Series.
