The ADAM Audio A4V is a 2-way powered nearfield studio monitor for small studios, music production, mixing, post-production, and immersive setups, featuring a 4” MLM woofer, a hand-built X-ART tweeter with a rotatable HPS waveguide, 110 W peak hybrid amplification for the lows and 20 W for the highs, a frequency response from 52Hz to 45kHz, 96kHz DSP with Voicing and Room Adaptation, A Control remote software via Ethernet, Sonarworks SoundID Reference integration, and XLR/RCA inputs.
Compact, but designed as a true professional monitor
The ADAM Audio A4V is the most compact model in the A Series and is designed for small-sized studios, close listening distances, and multichannel or immersive configurations. The 2-way system combines a 4" long-throw MLM woofer with ADAM Audio’s X-ART tweeter, delivering an extended response up to 45 kHz and a low-end reaching 52 Hz at -6 dB.

The MLM cone is made of layered mineral fibers treated to achieve a lightweight yet rigid structure. The X-ART tweeter, hand-built in Germany, works within the HPS waveguide. The tweeter/waveguide module can be rotated to maintain correct dispersion behavior even when oriented horizontally.
DSP, voicing, and room adaptation
The internal DSP operates at 96 kHz. Room Adaptation controls for Bass, Desk, Presence, and Treble are available on the rear panel, along with Pure and UNR voicings.
A Control and Sonarworks SoundID Reference
The Ethernet port allows you to manage the A4V with the free ADAM Audio A Control software. A Control also lets you import filters generated by Sonarworks SoundID Reference and transfer them directly into the monitor's DSP.
Connections, installation, and power
The A4V features a balanced XLR input and an unbalanced RCA input, as well as an RJ45 connection for network control. Four M8 threaded inserts on the bottom allow for use with the mounting solutions provided for the A Series.
