Adam Audio T10S Sub
Estimated delivery in Italy between 19 and 21 October
The ADAM Audio T10S is a compact powered studio subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency range of nearfield monitoring systems, optimized in particular for the T5V and T7V monitors, featuring a 10” down-firing woofer, 130 W RMS Class D amplification, a frequency response from 28Hz to 120Hz, a rear bass reflex port, an internal crossover selectable at 80/120Hz or bypass, 0°/180° phase switching, XLR/RCA inputs and outputs, and remote bypass via footswitch.
Low-frequency extension for nearfield systems
The ADAM Audio T10S is a compact active subwoofer developed to extend the low-frequency response of nearfield monitors. It was designed specifically to complement the T5V and T7V, but it can also be integrated with other monitoring systems thanks to its stereo connections, selectable crossover, and phase control.
10" down-firing woofer and 130 W RMS
The 10" (260mm) transducer with a paper cone and 1.5" voice coil is mounted on the bottom of the cabinet in a down-firing configuration. The PWM amplifier delivers 130 W RMS, and the system reaches a frequency response of 28-120 Hz (-6 dB), with at least 104 dB SPL at 1 meter in half-space. Four flexible rubber feet help isolate the cabinet from the floor, while the bass reflex port is located on the rear.
80/120 Hz Crossover, Bypass, and 0°/180° phase
The internal two-channel crossover can be set to 80 Hz or 120 Hz, or disabled via Bypass when filtering is handled by an external processor. The 0°/180° phase inversion helps align the subwoofer's response with that of the monitors, while the Level control allows for precise balancing of the low-end contribution.
Stereo XLR/RCA I/O and remote bypass
Connectivity includes stereo XLR and RCA inputs and outputs. The bypass can also be controlled by an optional footswitch: in this mode, the subwoofer is muted and the path to the satellites reverts to full range, making it immediate to compare the sound with and without the low-end extension.
Automatic standby and practical integration
The T10S automatically enters standby after 15 minutes without a signal. Its compact dimensions for its category, universal power supply, and the layout of the controls on the rear panel facilitate integration under a workstation or in a small control room.
Who it is for and when to choose it
The T10S is recommended when your nearfield system needs to reach lower frequencies with greater authority than the main monitors alone can provide, without resorting to a bulky subwoofer. It is particularly coherent with the T5V and T7V, but can also be integrated with other monitors thanks to its stereo inputs/outputs and crossover and phase options.
