At the heart of the AKAI PRO MPC ONE RETRO is the same multi-core processor as the flagship MPC series instrument, the MPC X, cleverly integrated into a compact chassis. MPC ONE RETRO offers an incredible user interaction experience across all stages of music production. Edit and cut samples by interacting with your fingers on the 7” multi-touch color display. Directly adjust key parameters using the rotary potentiometers and buttons on the panel.

A COMPLETE MPC
With AKAI Professional MPC ONE RETRO, you'll have all the MPC series functionalities perfectly positioned to meet your usage needs, for a smooth, unhindered experience in creating your musical projects. 4 rotary potentiometers and a larger data encoder are pre-mapped to manage the most used parameters. There are sixteen pressure and velocity-sensitive pads with RBG backlighting, offering perfect and extremely expressive response. Functions such as Note Repeat, Full Level, 16 Level, and the transport button section are naturally included.

STUDIO CONNECTIVITY
AKAI MPC ONE RETRO will integrate perfectly into any setup, in the studio and live, as it provides all the necessary connections. Connect your USB MIDI controller, external instruments (line sources, ¼” jack), control your compatible MIDI instruments and your synths, racks or analog modules with the CV/Gate outputs. No obstacle to interconnectivity.

MPC SOFTWARE 2
Akai Professional developed MPC 2 software to be used both standalone (without a computer) and as a DAW for PC and Mac computers by configuring the instrument in controller mode. MPC 2 software represents a complete suite for computer-based music production with a 128-track sequencer, real-time time stretching, clip launching, advanced MIDI editing, VST plug-in compatibility, sampling, audio recording and editing with integration into other DAWs. All with a simple and streamlined user interface. Depending on your needs, whether on stage or in the studio, with or without a computer, you will find everything you need in MPC 2 software.

STORAGE CAPACITY
The Akai Professional MPC ONE RETRO comes with 2GB of free space on a 4GB internal Micro SD; 2GB are occupied by essential content for instrument use. Do you want to import your samples and sounds, save or export projects? No problem, MPC ONE RETRO has an SD Card slot and a USB Type-A port for connecting mass storage devices.
