40W RMS Amplified Multimedia Monitors
Elevate 4 is a pair of compact monitors that join the successful series of multimedia speakers designed for the home studio by American company Alesis. Amplified with 40W RMS generated by a Class AB power amplifier integrated into one of the multi-layer wooden cabinets with an elegant black finish, this pair of speakers features a 4” woofer and a 1” dome tweeter on each speaker, housed in a waveguide designed for better stereo imaging. On the front panel of the primary monitor (where the amplifier is located), there is a potentiometer for volume control, which also acts as an on/off switch. Stereo RCA inputs are located on the rear panel of the powered monitor, while the 1/8” headphone jack is also located on the front panel. The interconnection between the two monitors (active and passive) is made via an included cable. Balanced connections are present on ¼” TRS jack sockets and there is a passive output dedicated to connecting an optional (NOT included) active subwoofer.
