4-Channel Mixer
The ALESIS MULTIMIX 4 USB is a 4-channel desktop mixer with a built-in USB digital audio interface. This compact mixer is the perfect solution for use in a basic computer recording setup, video editing, production studio, and portable podcasting setup because it offers not only an analog stereo line output but also, via the USB connection, easy connectivity to a computer with 16-bit, 44.1 kHz low-noise D/A conversion quality.
The ALESIS MULTIMIX 4 USB features four 1/4" jack line inputs. Channels one and two can also accept XLR microphone inputs, including condenser microphones powered by switchable 48V phantom power directly from the mixer. Channel one can also accept high-impedance signals, such as a guitar or bass, with a switchable control.
Channels one and two are also equipped with a switchable high-pass filter, cut at 75Hz to eliminate low-frequency noise and rumble. Each channel has independent pan control, and channels one and two also have two stages of equalization, high and low, in shelving format. Channels one and two have independent gain control, while channels three and four are configured as stereo pairs for pan and level controls.
The ALESIS MULTIMIX 4 USB also has two five-segment multi-color LED meters to display the main output level. The 1/4" headphone output has a separate volume control.
