Compact 2-octave USB MIDI controller keyboard
The Alesis V Mini is a 25-key mini keyboard that sends MIDI control messages via the USB port to PC and Mac computers. Its extreme compactness makes it an ideal instrument for use in any situation, including travel. In addition to the two-octave keyboard with velocity-sensitive keys, the Alesis V Mini provides the user with 4 rotary potentiometers and an equal number of velocity-sensitive backlit pads. Pitch bend (+ and -), modulation, and sustain controls are available in the form of programmable mini keys, while for octave transposition the user can count on two dedicated buttons (+ and -). Once the keyboard is registered in your Alesis website user account, you will get a free version of the multi-timbral virtual instrument Xpand!2 developed by Air Music Tech, which will provide you with numerous ready-to-use preset sounds to start playing immediately*. The Alesis V Mini is powered directly via USB when connected to the computer and, being a class-compliant device, no drivers need to be installed as it will be automatically recognized by operating systems.
