The ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 is a 32-channel digital mixer with 33 faders (32 channels + master) from the SQ series, powered by Allen & Heath's revolutionary 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine. Built to excel in demanding situations such as AV, corporate events, live productions, and houses of worship, the ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 delivers high-resolution audio quality with incredibly low latency of less than 0.7ms. The console features 32 built-in microphone preamps, as well as 8 stereo FX engines with dedicated stereo return channels and access to the renowned RackExtra FX library.
The ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 is a natural choice for in-ear monitor setups, with 12 stereo mixes (configurable as groups or Auxes), while the Automatic Mic Mixing feature makes it an excellent choice for conferences, debates, and much more.
The ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 is powered by the 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine, offering excellent high-resolution audio quality, incredibly low latency of less than 0.7ms, and variable bit depth for optimized dynamic range. XCVI is the foundation of the new generation, allowing the ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 to handle a large number of channels at 96kHz, with a mix boasting plenty of headroom thanks to a 96-bit accumulator, and pure power that enables the device to integrate with the popular DEEP plugins on all 48 input channels and all mixes. The DEEP processing architecture allows you to manually choose compressor and preamplifier emulations suitable for every style and need.
Compact and robust, with 12 stereo mixes, incredibly low latency, and graphic and parametric equalization on every mix, the SQ-7 is the perfect companion for in-ear monitoring setups.
Thanks to the intelligent SLink port, the ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 can be expanded to a total of 48 microphone inputs via the series of 96kHz and 48kHz rack expanders and Stage Boxes (e.g., AB168, AR2412, AR84, and DX168), transforming it into a flexible solution for owners of other Allen & Heath digital systems. It is also possible to connect to another SQ, Qu, or dLive system for bidirectional audio patching.
The ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 is compatible with major audio network standards; simply add a network card like Dante or Waves to the I/O port to integrate it with existing systems, providing digital FoH/Monitor split and more.
The integrated LSQ-Drive allows for quick and easy 96kHz multi-track or stereo recording of the show directly to a USB stick or hard drive. No software setup, no audio card drivers, and no extra laptop are needed to record the performance. SQ-Drive is also a smart way to manage walk-in music.
There is also a built-in 32x32 96kHz audio interface for multi-track recording, backing tracks, or virtual soundcheck applications. The interface is compatible with Core Audio and ASIO and includes MIDI and DAW control functionalities.
The ALLEN & HEATH SQ-7 is fully compatible with the ME Personal Mixing System, which allows artists to take control of their monitor mixes. Any number of ME-1 and ME-500 Personal Mixers can be daisy-chained from the mixer's SLink port or from a connected remote expander.
