Allen & Heath launches the new Xone:23, a compact 2-channel DJ mixer packed with professional features normally found in higher-end products: an improved version of the legendary Xone filters with resonance control, VCA faders, 3-band Total Kill EQ, backlit buttons, crossfader curve selector, and styling inspired by the Xone:DB4.
The heart of the mixer is comprised of the renowned analog VCF (Voltage Control Filter) filters, offering a low-pass and a high-pass filter, frequency selector and "mild to wild" resonance. FX/Loop connections allow for the connection of an external effects unit.
The two stereo channels feature independent level control for each of the four stereo inputs, allowing them to be used at any time, as well as dedicated send and return for the external effect. The mixer can also be upgraded with the latest Innofader for advanced scratch performance, available as an Allen & Heath accessory.
The main mix output and microphone input have balanced XLR connectors, which are standard and professional, and there is a dedicated recording output. The Xone:23 has a monitor output with volume control, a headphone output with cue-mix and volume control, and 9-segment Peak Hold for signal level display.
With the same styling as the Xone:DB4, the Xone:23 includes backlit controls, light piping, and a distinctive new shaped steel front panel.
