Allen & Heath Xone23C

The Allen & Heath Xone:23C is a mixer that meets the needs of DJs who want to preserve the tradition of vinyl while still using mixing software. The integrated USB audio interface can be configured in two different modes: DVS for use with timecode vinyl, or the default mode for receiving/recording the Master signal (1/2) and the Send FX (3/4) on a computer. The X:Link connector allows you to connect and power XONE K series MIDI controllers without occupying additional USB ports on your computer. The indispensable analog VCF filter, configurable as low or hi-pass, features independent cut-off and resonance controls. Stereo RCA connections for send and return allow for the integration of an external effects processor into your setup. Another feature of the XONE:23 is that thanks to the separate gain on all 4 inputs, it is possible to simulate a 4-channel mixer, instead of switching line/phono as in classic mixers.

Xone:23C brings together the best of digital DJing and traditional mixing in an accessible and compact format with an audio interface compatible with Traktor Scratch software.

Xone:23C includes an improved version of the legendary Xone filter with resonance control, VCA faders, 3-band Total Kill EQ, illuminated buttons, crossfader curve selector and a design inspired by the flagship Xone:DB4.

At the heart of the mixer is the famous analog Voltage Control Filter (VCF) system which offers Low-Pass and High-Pass filters, frequency sweep and 'mild to wild' resonance control. There is also an FX Loop for connecting to external effects units.

Xone:23C features 2+2 channels with dual levels for Phono and Line inputs, allowing four audio sources to be connected simultaneously, including turntables and CD/media players. Additionally, the internal sound card enables playback and recording from DJ software, offering users all the benefits of digital DJing while utilizing real mixer controls.

The main mix output and microphone input are standard professional balanced XLR. There is also a dedicated recording output. Xone:23C features comprehensive monitoring facilities, including a dedicated monitor output with its own volume control, a cue mix control, and clearly displayed signal levels in the 9-segment meter with peak-hold.

Designed on the flagship Xone:DB4, the Xone:23C includes soft-touch, backlit controls, light-piped indicators, and a new distinctive sculpted steel faceplate. The mixer can also be upgraded with the latest Innofader, available as an accessory, for enhanced scratch performance.

Xone:23C comes with Mixvibes Cross LE software, providing DVS control and plug-and-play mapping for Xone:K series controllers.

This mixer is also compatible with Native Instruments Traktor Scratch software (from version 2.11.3 onwards) and allows you to physically control tracks loaded in the software's decks using dedicated timecode vinyl. Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch automatically recognize and configure with your Allen & Heath XONE mixer equipped with an audio interface connected via USB to your PC or Mac. Before connecting the mixer to your computer via USB, check the manufacturer's website for dedicated drivers for your operating system and, if available, download and install them.
