AMPHION FLEXBASE25 is a stereo bass extension and management system with a separate LFE channel input and a 2 x 700 W amplifier. The variable crossover frequency allows you to modify the system's character to match the specifics of various production tasks. The mono/stereo spread adjustment ensures precise system integration, even when higher crossover points are used.
AMPHION FLEXBASE25 is a modern approach to subwoofer design and is suitable for both studio acoustics and less treated home studio environments. It is easy to set up and intuitive to adjust.
Extensive adjustment possibilities regarding crossover frequency (35-260 Hz), subwoofer level, and mono-stereo spread allow AMPHION FLEXBASE25 to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving landscape of modern music production. With a turn of a few knobs, the system adapts to any task.
The LFE input has a sensitivity of +10dB compared to the main channels, but no integrated low-pass filter.
AMPHION FLEXBASE25 does not function as a conventional subwoofer but transforms a 2-way monitor into a full-range 3-way system, which radically increases the monitor's own headroom. When you want to access the midrange, the bypass function allows you to use the monitors for a more focused midrange view.
Although AMPHION FLEXBASE25 is naturally optimized for Amphion products, nothing prevents it from being used with different studio monitors as well.
