The "A" suffix in ARCAM stands for Amplification: and this is the brand's core expertise. The ARCAM A5 embodies over 45 years of amplifier design and production, going back to their first product in 1976, the A&R Cambridge A60 amplifier. Both the components and materials used have been carefully analyzed and revised to ensure maximum sound quality. To enjoy music immediately without connecting cables, the ARCAM A5 also includes Bluetooth with Qualcomm AptX Adaptive technology. In this case, the audio is high definition 24bit from both phone and tablet, regardless of playback. In addition to receiving, it also has the ability to transmit the Bluetooth signal, for example, to connect wireless headphones and listen to your favorite program without disturbing other family members. High-resolution audio is also available through the wired digital audio inputs on the rear panel.
