GrandVJ is very easy to customize according to each user's preferred configuration. The interface can be modified very quickly to adapt to individual needs and preferences. Mapping MIDI controllers is a breeze thanks to the new MIDI learning mode. You can even import predefined presets for specific MIDI controllers.
Supports almost everything
On the mixing side, GrandVJ comes with an updated library of ArKaos effects as well as a long list of automated video generators. GrandVJ also offers extensive support for various media, including almost all video and image formats; flash text and animations; and multiple inputs from camcorders.
Do you need some footage?
The software installer, which can be downloaded from the site, offers some video loops to get started. OK - do you need high quality? The boxed version is shipped with a DVD-ROM containing 2.8 GB of high-quality footage ready to be mixed with the software.
These additional loops are only available with the boxed version, and cannot be purchased separately. They were specifically made for VJs by professional VJs and visual artists from all over the world. For more information, please refer to the GrandVJ Artists page.
High performance, for both PC and Mac
Behind the scenes, GrandVJ works with a state-of-the-art graphics engine, hardware-accelerated and multi-threaded, capable of supporting multiple screens as well as high-resolution video. Like all other ArKaos products, GrandVJ works on both PC and MAC.
GrandVJ comes with 2 serial codes. One serial can be used on a system to prepare the show, while the other license can be used on the machine used live during the event itself. It will also be possible to use one serial for a Windows machine and another serial for a Mac machine.
The new license management system also allows you to "deactivate" a serial so that it can be used on a new system or on another system.
