RIAA Preamplifier
The ART USB PHONOPLUS PS is a RIAA preamplifier with a low-noise phono pre-amp circuit and high-pass filters (to eliminate background noise), ensuring pristine audio acquisition. The gain control and Signal/Clip LED on the front panel allow for easy optimization of a wide range of analog input sources. The USB Monitor/headphone provides latency-free monitoring of the input source.
The ART USB PHONOPLUS PS also functions as an audio source player for any computer or laptop equipped with a USB port. The TOSLINK optical input and output, as well as the S/PDIF input, make the ART USB PHONOPLUS PS the perfect analog/digital to USB audio interface. The low-noise Phono Preamp circuit is highly accurate and fully compliant with RIAA standards. The jack line outputs are always connected to the preamplifier's input signal for source monitoring or to allow it to be used as a stand-alone phono preamplifier.
Housed in an all-black anodized aluminum chassis, the ART USB PHONOPLUS PS can be powered either by an external power supply or directly via USB. To ensure maximum versatility, the ART USB PHONOPLUS PS is fully compatible with USB 2.0 specifications. It is compatible with audio device drivers for Windows (98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7) as well as Apple computers (OS9.1, OS-X) with native USB support.
The ART USB PHONOPLUS PS comes with SoundSaver Express software.
