Condenser microphone for recording drum hi-hats, general percussion and banjo. The AT4053b microphone has an interchangeable capsule and is therefore suitable for use in a wide variety of applications. It has a hypercardioid polar pattern that you can easily change by replacing the included capsule with one of the others available in the catalog (not included): AT4049b-ELE - OMNIDIRECTIONAL capsule, AT4051b-ELE - CARDIOID capsule. It features transformerless balanced outputs for a clean signal even at high levels and to avoid the distortion typical of transformer-coupled outputs.
