FEATURES
The Audiophony CARBON12A is an active speaker with DSP, TWS, and App control.
This 12" woofer model offers extended dispersion thanks to a special horn mounted on a 1.35" compression driver with a polymer diaphragm, which ensures a clear high-frequency sound, even more transparent than that of a titanium tweeter.
The plastic enclosure is manufactured using a technique that utilizes nitrogen to improve the properties of the plastic material itself, increasing its resistance (+20%) and durability, and also enhancing its audio performance.
The fanless Class-D amplifier provides a power reserve of 1000 WRMS for bass and 500 WRMS for treble. It features 2 MIC / line inputs with automatic switching, a Bluetooth TWS input, and a LINK output.
The powerful integrated DSP offers various operating modes and customizable settings via a 2.4" color display. It allows selecting presets (Normal, Live, Club, Speech), speaker position (Foot, Monitor, Stand), Delay, HPF, Ducking with source adjustment, threshold, attenuation, release time, etc. Furthermore, for each individual channel, there is an equalizer, bass/treble tone control, various presets (Live, Vocal, Custom), etc.
The dedicated App connects via Bluetooth to the speaker for setting various parameters - from speaker-level to individual channel-level settings - Bluetooth pairing, and generally all adjustments allowed using the display on the back of the CARBON12A and the menu system.
The structure is equipped with a full metal grille, three handles, and M10 inserts for easy mounting.
