Housed in a precision-machined aluminum body, the 33mm fixed-charge capsule features a gold-plated diaphragm for a wide and natural frequency response. With its well-behaved cardioid polar pattern, the LA131 faithfully captures performance details while rejecting room noise and other unwanted off-axis sounds.
A dual-steel grille, ultra-thin acoustic foam, and shell provide exceptional pop resistance, ideal for podcast and voiceover applications. Behind the grille, the airborne design of the capsule's mounting system allows the LA131 to deliver transparent and uncolored sound.
Patented impedance control between the capsule and circuitry ensures consistent and reliable performance across a wide range of environments.
A unique and highly effective internal shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations and tactile noise, eliminating the need for a bulky external shock mount.
