Housed in a precision-machined aluminum body, the 33mm fixed-charge capsule features a gold-sputtered diaphragm for a broad, natural frequency response. With its well-behaved cardioid polar pattern, the LA133 faithfully captures the details of any performance while rejecting room noise and other unwanted off-axis sounds very well.
A dual-weave steel mesh grille and ultra-thin acoustic foam provide exceptional pop resistance, perfect for podcasts and high-quality vocal recordings. Behind the grille, the open-air design of the capsule mounting system allows the LA133 to deliver
a clear, uncolored sound.
Patented impedance control between the capsule and circuitry ensures consistent and reliable performance across a wide range of environments. A unique and extremely effective internal shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations and tactile noise, eliminating the need for an additional bulky external shock mount. The switchable 10dB pad and bass roll-off ensure you're ready for any recording or live performance situation. The LA133 delivers studio performance in a go-anywhere package, the LA133 also comes with a zippered protective case.
Requires 48-52V phantom power. For best results, the LA133 should be used with a high-quality microphone preamplifier and microphone cable.
