M55W - ADJUSTABLE CEILING SUSPENSION MICROPHONE
The M55 ceiling suspension microphone system is designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality, and ease of installation are essential. Primary applications for the ceiling-mounted M55 include audio capture for video and presentations or teleconferencing (VTC), distance learning, hospital rooms, surveillance, and ambient microphones. The M55 conference microphone can be equipped with interchangeable capsules featuring cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid (shotgun) polar patterns. High sensitivity and low noise. RF shielded against interference from mobile phones and devices. Installing the M55 suspension microphone only requires drilling a 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, with no additional tools needed. The M55 mounting hardware allows easy adjustment of the suspension height up to one and a half meters from the ceiling surface without removing ceiling tiles. An optional orientation clip (MCHANGER) allows for easy angle adjustment after installation. The cable assembly, with a specified locking connector, is carefully housed in a watertight junction box. A safety cable provides additional seismic restraint. The M55 is manufactured in white and with a 4-foot cable terminated with a block-mounted connector. Designed, machined, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
