The M55 suspension ceiling microphone system is designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality, and ease of installation are critical. Primary applications for the ceiling-mounted M55 include audio capture for video and presentations or VTC teleconferencing, distance learning, hospital departments, surveillance, and ambient microphones. The M55 conference microphone can be equipped with interchangeable capsules with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid shotgun coverage patterns. High sensitivity and low noise level. Shielded against RF interference from mobile phones and devices. Installing the M55 suspension microphone requires only a 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, with no other tools needed. The M55's mounting hardware allows for easy adjustment of the suspension height up to 1.5 meters from the ceiling surface without removing ceiling panels. An optional MCHANGER orientation clip allows for easy angle adjustment once installed. The cable assembly, with a deterministic block connector, is neatly housed in a sealed, fire-rated junction box. A safety cable provides additional seismic containment. The M55 is produced in white with a 4-foot cable terminated in a block-mounted connector.
