The flush-mount configuration and a small footprint of just three inches in diameter allow the M70WD to virtually disappear. Dual-color LEDs can be controlled via a plugin to indicate the microphone's status.
The M70WD capsule is housed within a patented base that allows the microphone to be aimed up to a 45-degree angle.
Other features include a fully integrated preamplifier and an extremely high sensitivity of 38 millivolts. In addition, the M70WD has complete immunity from RF interference caused by cell phones and GSM devices. Installation of the M70WD requires only a 2-inch hole in the ceiling, with no additional tools needed. It requires a DN4 or DN43 microphone interface, sold separately.
