The SCX25AMP is a matched pair of SCX25A large-diaphragm condenser microphones, designed for high-precision stereo studio recording. This premium set includes two perfectly matched SCX25A microphones, ideal for capturing pianos, acoustic instruments, vocals, and drums with great fidelity. Each microphone features an elegant design and a patented capsule suspension system, mounted on a machined brass ring that completely isolates the capsule from the microphone body and electronics. This structure minimizes acoustic reflections and diffractions, delivering a pure, open, and detailed sound. The SCX25A ensures a consistent response for both on-axis and off-axis signals, with excellent phase coherence and minimal proximity effect. Its wide cardioid polar pattern allows the sound engineer to blend the direct sound of the instrument or voice with the surrounding environment.
