Austrian Audio has expanded its highly successful Hi-X6 headphone range with the addition of the Hi-X60 model, a professional reference headphone for recording and FOH applications. Featuring the Hi-X6 series' sound signature, with its natural and spacious sound, the Hi-X60's over-ear, closed-back design is ideal for use in noisy environments, such as in the studio or front of house (FOH). In the studio, the Hi-X60's closed isolation prevents sound from escaping into the recording environment and interfering with microphone capture. At FOH, the high passive noise suppression ensures an optimal signal-to-noise ratio, creating an accurate and ear-friendly sound environment. For instrumental or vocal tracking, both features work together to provide the artist with a consistent and healthy signal without leakage. The Hi-X60 offers remarkable comfort even for long sessions, leaving the user free from fatigue and able to concentrate on the workflow. All contact points are made of soft and durable memory foam. The ear pads feature the acclaimed Hi-X design with plenty of internal space and smaller external dimensions. The ear pads can be easily replaced. Additionally, the headband has a clever cut to relieve pressure on the head. Made in Vienna
