AVID S1 is an 8-fader control surface.
From controlling audio to soloing tracks, from editing plug-ins to routing signals, from writing surround panning automation to triggering macros, AVID S1 provides total hands-on access to your audio or video project, giving you greater speed and precision than mixing with a mouse and keyboard.
With AVID S1 Control on your connected iPad or Android tablet, you can get anywhere, immediately.
It allows you to switch between tracks by selecting them in the Tracks view. Scrolling through multiple channels in Mix View. You can open and close Pro Tools and/or Folder Tracks directly from the surface, greatly speeding up session navigation.
From its touch-sensitive motorized faders and touch-sensitive knobs, to VCA spill support, monitor control, and custom layouts, AVID S1 goes far beyond what you could do with a MIDI-based controller. Plus, its customizable keys speed up tedious tasks, allowing you to trigger functions with a simple touch.
From track names, to parameter values, and high-resolution S6-style metering (including gain reduction), to 7.1.2 surround panning, automation status, and channel processing graphs, AVID S1 offers deep insight into your mix, giving you the visual feedback you need to make better creative decisions.
AVID S1 offers deep integration with Pro Tools and Media Composer, plus native support for a variety of third-party audio and video applications, including Logic Pro, Cubase, Premiere Pro, and more, to significantly accelerate editing and mixing tasks.
It allows you to easily control EUCON-enabled monitoring directly from the surface. With the monitoring view in Avid Control, you can quickly assign and manage source selections, cue mixes, talkback, listenback, speaker breaks, and more to accelerate your workflow.
