The BLACK LION AUDIO B173 QUAD is a 4-channel microphone preamplifier that perfectly combines vintage character with modern sensitivity in an elegant 2U chassis, with a feature set that satisfies the most demanding sound engineers. A revamped gain stage and reduced noise floor pave the way for cleaner, less distorted sound, while Cinemag input and output transformers keep everything smooth and warm. The two front-panel D.I.s give a harmonically rich tone to guitars, keyboards, and synthesizers, and stepped input gain and variable output attenuation allow for perfect control over transformer saturation. A meter on all 4 channels shows how strong the output signal is routed to the parallel TRS/XLR outputs, and an external power supply keeps noise out of your tracks.
