A powerful, zero-latency 120 x 120 12G-SDI video matrix, the largest model in the Blackmagic Videohub matrix family, compatible with any combination of SD, HD, and Ultra HD simultaneously. It features 120 12G-SDI inputs and 120 12G-SDI outputs, redundant power supply, and reference connections, all housed in a 6U rack. You can connect various HyperDeck recorders for redundant mastering, or route video to various streaming processors for broadcasting on any platform. The Blackmagic Videohub 120x120 12G is also useful for providing additional inputs to ATEM switchers.
The large front Full HD LCD allows you to see live video from all connected inputs before routing and clearly displays labels and video standards. This allows you to scroll through the list of routing sources forwards and backwards in alphabetical order and view their video even with different standards. This is the ideal solution for portable racks with limited space, as it allows you to view sources without a separate SDI monitor. Routing operations are managed directly from the selection buttons and via the large control knob with electronic clutch.
The matrix also offers SDI reclocking - a function that regenerates the video signal to ensure maximum quality so that all devices within the studio receive a regenerated and clean signal with optimized jitter to work with longer cables without fear of video interruptions - and supports all SDI video standards up to 2160p 60. Not only that, the Blackmagic Videohub 120x120 12G can route any video standard simultaneously, which in this case means 120 different video signals on 120 outputs at the same time!
Thanks to the Ethernet port, the unit can be controlled remotely with a variety of hardware devices or via software control panels. In the first case, two hardware devices are available: Videohub Master Control Pro and Videohub Smart Control Pro. In the second case, you can download Videohub Software Control for Mac and Windows for free, which features an easy-to-use interface with large, customizable buttons. There is also a downloadable version for iPad.
